VIRTUAL MEDITATION & WELLNESS WORKSHOPS
Live Guided Meditation (20 Minutes)
A single session includes a brief introduction to practice (5 minutes) and a live, guided meditation (15 minutes). Participants are guided into a state of relaxation. This is a restorative practice where participants rest comfortably, seated or lying down. Our instructors are happy to remain for any questions/feedback following the meditation.
Wellness Workshops (Weekly Series)
The Art of Relaxation (30 Minute Classes, Six-Week Series)
This course fosters a deep experience of relaxation in both body and mind. Each week, participants will be lead through a guided mind/body relaxation technique. Participants will then have this resource in their toolbox of techniques to lessen stress, increase presence and support creativity. This course provides a grounded foundation for learning the art of mind/body relaxation.
Seasonal The Antidote (30 Minute Classes, Six-Week Series)
Participants will discover a simple yet profound technique for practicing mindfulness meditation. Participants will learn how to consciously release tension from the body and mind, how to gently rest awareness on the breath and how to incorporate mindfulness into daily life.
Seasonal Wellness Workshop (30 Minute Classes, Six-Week Series)
All ancient wisdom traditions teach that health and harmony are the fruits of honoring nature's cycles. In this way, each season offers a unique prescription on how to live. In this informative, interactive and inspiring series, participants will learn how to nourish themselves - with diet, exercise and lifestyle practices - for optimal health in each season of life.
Press Pause: Yin Yoga (30 Minute Classes, Six-Week Series)
Yin yoga is a meditative mind/body practice that fosters relaxation, compassion and presence. Participants move through a series of yoga postures with an emphasis on gentle breathing and relaxation. Each pose is held for three to five minutes, allowing the body to safely and slowly release long-held patterns of muscular tension. As tensions are released, participants experience a renewed sense of energy, clarity and calm.
RX: Gentle Yoga Flow (30 Minute Classes, Six-Week Series)
Oftentimes, when we experience a lull in energy we reach for caffeine or sugary snacks. Instead of reaching for "false energy," gift yourself a 30-minute practice of gentle yoga. In each class, participants are guided through a gentle yoga flow, breathing exercises and deep relaxation that leaves you feeling refreshed, renewed and refocused.
Medicine Bag (30 Minute Classes, Four-Week Series)
This package offers employees an introduction to four mind/body practices: meditation, yin yoga, guided relaxation and gentle yoga. Participants will receive a new set of tools that they can then incorporate into daily life for enhanced well-being.
THE MOBILE STUDIO
Schedule a visit from the Kala Mobile Meditation Studio, available for hourly reservation. Inside our mobile vehicle are 8 individual meditation pods. Each pod is equipped with comfortable seating, noise cancelling headphones and an interactive tablet where you can view and select your meditation experience. Kala provides an easy and convenient way to add moments of peace to your day.
